Please tell us why you think you could do this job. Provide evidence of your relevant skills, experience and knowledge by giving specific examples and demonstrating how you meet the competencies listed on the Role Profile. Be positive about your personal skills and achievements.

Please answer the above question & relate it to your present job or your dream job. I personally find it 'difficult to blow my own trumpet on paper, i'm better at the interview/face to face'

What do you think the key words are that employers are looking for on the form?

I am dependable, hard working, a fast learner and I enjoy working closely with others. However I am not a writer or essayist, if I get this job I feel we will both benefit unless of course it is a writing job.

I believe I am good match for the position because of my 20 years experience in this field. I am a conscientious employee who can work independantly or as a team when necessary. I am a quick and willing learner who enjoys the challenge of an exciting job like this one. Taking direction, managing sudden change ups and pitching in are all skills I have developed during my career.

Is that better.

When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

I'm skint, need a job to pay for my rent/mortgage, else I'll have to sleep on your doorstep.

Bcup, as you know I blew my last interview by trying to be a smartass:-5 I am just too truthful, I would rather get back into an office if I could, but I am going to need a few weeks off very shortly for some more surgery, so when they ask about my health as I am registered disabled, it always seems to put them off. I don't know whether to go back to college in Sept, if I do go back I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone got any bright ideas cause this light was switched off a long time ago:-5

Suzy i think you should look into working from home or at least be self employed (work for yourself) you are a talented woman who can turn her hand to most things, the key here is finding what service is lacking in your area, do some research ;)

EG - Does your area hire Limo's, if they dont, does Jim drive?

He drives, you take bookings, phone calls, do promotions, advertize

See where i'm going? Look for whats lacking in your area.

I can honestly say that I don't think this area lacks anything, we are in a really prosperous area. I was looking into getting my own shop but the rent is ridiculous prices and the competition high.

Jim runs his own business, we couldn't work together anyway, we'd be divorced before we got hitched
