It might just be me but i'm able to click on any topic in the garden other than Bothwell's pub which seems a bit odd :-3

I just posted in there with Firefox - have another try. Maybe clear your cookies and cache first, if you'll excuse my coarseness.

Okay... your computer might be slow and you're hitting a Firefox timeout before FG has supplied the page? You could try clearing Firefox's cache and cookies, restarting your computer, loading nothing but Firefox and retrying.

It's a bloody long thread, that's why. I'm not sure whether there's indexing that could be re-performed to get to the last post quicker.

The same happens to me with Internet Explorer, in the Pub and Word Association threads, even after deleting cookies and clearing my cache. Also, the Random thread has extra pages attached.

Then Tombstone needs to consider whether his indexes are in perfect condition.

Dont rule out a conspiracy.

I just tried the pub, and the word association thread. I'm not experiencing anything unusual.

Conspiracy? Probably!

and...for the sake of speed and to keep the database server from choking, i'm going to close some of these threads and ask that you start new threads.

I just experienced this as well. (After my last post.) Yes, this is due to me letting our threads grow to humongous sizes. It's fun, so why not?

Looks like 25,000 threads is pretty hefty. So let's create a new thread.

actually, i've been wondering how far we could stretch a specific conversation. it looks like 25,000 to 38,000 posts depending on the thread's datasize is our (comfort) limit.
