Thank you for contacting us for information on Registered Mail item,..........

Our system shows your item was accepted on July 18, 2007 in EDEN PRAIRIE, MN 55344.

Our Registered Mail service is not time guaranteed. Because this is our most secure service, the mailpiece requires a signature at every point during transport. This can sometimes cause a delay. Also, please note that Registered Mail is not a trackable service. It is only intended to show confirmation of delivery or attempted delivery.

I apologize for any inconvenience. If your mailpiece is not received within 14 postal business days from mailing, please let me know. I can then file a report. This information will go to your Post Office for immediate attention. If this is necessary, I will need the following information:

- Where item was mailed from (i.e. your address, other residence/business, Post Office, Collection Box, or unknown) Please provide name and address if Post Office, other residence/business, or Collection Box.

- Sender (complete name if not Brian Holmes)

- Sender (complete address)

- Where item was mailed to (i.e. your address, other residence/business, Post Office, Collection Box, or unknown) Please provide name and address if Post Office, other residence/business, or Collection Box.

- Recipient (complete name)

- Recipient (complete address)

- Physical features of mailpiece (i.e. letter, large envelope, large package, all mail, some mail, unknown)

- Class of mail (i.e. First-Class Mail, Priority Mail)

- If any special service other than Registered Mail (i.e. Return Receipt, Restricted Delivery, Delivery ConfirmationT, Signature ConfirmationT, or Collect on Delivery (COD)

- Dollar value of item mailed

- Contents of item

- If you suspect foul play:

- Do you know who was involved? Yes or No

- Do you know the name(s) of who you suspect? Yes or No

- Was it a postal employee? Yes or No

- Do you have a description? Yes or No

- Your home phone number

- Indicate if you would like to be called back by your Post Office regarding this issue (we cannot guarantee an email response)

This isn't our surprise gift is it? Where is it? What do they mean they're not tracking it?, that was the purpose of this service instead of just regular mail..

It'll get there - before Christmas..

It is trackable but only in the beginning and at the final point. Not in between.

Registered is the most secure mail they have. Also its insured. 100 %

Everything will be fine.

I just went through the same thing down in Georgia. Sent 2 different items prioroty mail to Virginia. Paid extra to track the acceptance on line. No information available for days. I then find out that if the mail carrier on the delivery end doesnt scan the item... you cant get a confirmation of delivery. Its all BS.
