but i positively love the smell of fresh mowed grass!!!
we have some pretty steep hills that need mowing, that makes it a really tough job! i used to cut it myself up until about 10 or so years ago! but now we have a lawn service come one a week to mow it, the guy just left!!! smell that fresh cut grass!!!

What do you reckon they put in those candles to make them smell that way? Grass maybe?:D

when we were children, my best girl & i bottled up water w/grass clippings. we walked door to door offering it for $5. we thought we were geniuses, but no one bought it.
so, yes, i whole heartedly agree, cars. the smell of lawn grass - and your type too, minks - rules.

you know chonsi, the fresh cut grass smell seems to smell better/fresher when "someone else" cuts it! :p:D
at least chonsi you gotta get a self propelled mower, it's a one time expense! it really makes mowing so much easier! they have them at target stores starting around $240.

I am grassless out here in the desert. You all are making me envious.

I haven't rolled in a grass patch in years. Out here we have sagebrush and creosote bushes. (AKA greasewood) When it rains or it's going to, I can smell the scent the creosote gives off. A lot of people think it's noxious but to me it's the smell of the desert and it smells like home. When I've been gone for a while and I come over the river from California and I smell that river smell and the creosote bushes, I know I'm home safe.

Your crazy, and I love the smell of freshly cut lawn, and its easy to enjoy those simple things, especially when its a golf course & someone else is mowing.
I also love sea air, I live in the desert so I can smell water - am I crazy or what?
