All this time I thought Owsley Stanley was dead and he is alive and doing well in Queensland, Aust. At least, last I heard

He has a web site and sells belt buckles and things, some with the Grateful Dead logo on it.

We tried to get Stanley on the air more than a few times. Seems he likes his hide out and refuses to return calls or emails.

Or.... maybe it is that FBI thing.

Viva la Dead!

It kills me that I was not old enough to go on tour, following the band in true deadhead style. I saw them once in Memphis & fell in love with the community.
