I have good news.

Some of you have been asking me how the dog sitch is going and a lot of you know I've been very, very worried that it would all fall through now that the due date is coming around the bend.

I called the estate lawyer and told him I needed a decent chunk of money to get my dogs all vetted and prepped to go and he said no problem and even agreed to give me more than what I asked for. I was happy about that.

Then I took a deep breath and emailed my fellow rescuer fearing that she would renege on me because she is so swamped and she just now wrote back saying that she'll still take them.

And because I'm me, I'm still waiting for the catch. That's just the way I am though.

So far everything I need to happen is happening the right way.

I'm getting money.

I have friends to help me dig up runs and tear them down and haul them up to Kingman, set them up again and transport the dogs.

The dogs have a place to go.

I expect four of the dogs to go to California to another rescue facility and the ones who don't qualify will stay in Kingman and be adopted out of there.

I appear in court for the final time on August 17th to report to the judge what I've done.

Then I can breathe!!! This has gone on way too long with one speedbump after another.

So...thanks! :)

Wow Red thats fantastic news. It is wonderful thing you have done for these dogs, you are so dedicated to helping them - a true person with a golden heart. These dogs were so lucky the day they met you - you saved their lives and now continue to fight for them even at your own cost. That is dedication and love.

You are a truely wonderful person - I am so glad things are working out. Give the dogs a big hug from me before they move on to their new home.
