do you have visitors over to you?i always like to go to peoples houses because you can always leave, but if they come to you and they are set there for the night when you are tired you cant really be rude can you?

what do you do if that is the case if you wanted to go to bed? one of my friends use to start putting milk bottles out and fluff up the cushions:wah:

Have friends over - I'm always happier in my own environment

Either way is fine - we have comfortable friends.

go to their homes so I can leave when I am tired. Easier than kicking friends out of my home hehehe

plus my dog sheds badly, and he is a tad unpredictible, and not everybody likes my cat and kid hehehe

I have a set of friends who don't know when to leave. Their visits stretch 5 and 6 hours. And they always come unannounced.

There's nothing i can do really because even when I say "Well, I need to get dinner started," they'll still sit there.

I prefer to visit so I can split when I've had enough or when I think they've had enough of me.

I prefer to visit people for that reason too. You can just leave whenever you feel like it.

It's great having young kids, you can use them to make up all kinds of excuses! :D

All my friends and reletives come to my house. It is the party house. Everyone tells me and my wife that they feel at home at our house. We won't answer the doorbell alot of times because that means whoever is ringing us is not a friend. People kids friends come and go all the time. If I want to go too bed poof I go to bed. They can let themselves out and there are no hard feelings. When my wife and I cook we always cook extra cause it seems someone will always show up and if it gives us leftovers I just take it to work and eat it for lunch.

Gosh, I guess I am rude. At 10:00 when it is time for bed, I get up and say "Thank you for coming over, come again soon."

Make the rules and then stick by them - your house, your rules, fair enough.

I'm easy either way usually, only time i have issues is 5-7pm, ive just got in from work, i need chill time, similarly i would never turn up at someone's house at that time to visit them
