Hmm....I'd say no to the mowing unless you're using one of those old fashioned silent push mowers. Yes to the hedge haircut if you're using regular pruners but no electric noisy stuff. I think a person should think of their sleeping neighbors.

Why, did you wake up to a lawnmower this morning, Butter?

Yes i did. On one hand i think its extremely rude to wake everyone up that early on a Sunday & on the other hand i know what its like to wake up & strike while the irons hot (so to speak) Had he waited until say 10am to do it, the notion may have worn off.

although irritating, if the heat where you leave is anything like the heat we are experiencing here, I'm surprised he wasn't out there even earlier mowing. It's unbearable where we live, I feel sorry for anyone mowing at any time of day :(

Are you a sleeper inner ?

I cant do that.

If I had a big yard Id get a rider mower and a boom box. On Sundays Id attach a tv to it for footbball games. And Id have a cigar hanging out of my mouth. When I saw neighbors giving me dirty looks Id moon them.

Oh my, I sleep in to 6 in the summertime. :)

I did my back yard yesterday, but it was 10 am. I did all the shopping errands first. I'll do the front yard Tuesday before my trip, so the yard won't look too bad when I get back.

While I wouldn't mow the grass at 8 a.m., it wouldn't bother me if my neighbors did. I can understand doing things while you have the time and energy and wanting to beat the heat. Of course, it helps that I'm a sound sleeper and have no little ones for the noise to wake.

This is #1 daughter, she is 26. #2 daughter is in school here, one more semester to go for her B.A.! The kids and I are all going, the nurse and the ladies from church are coming in to take care of my husband so I can go. It is so cool.

The future son-in-law is nice, they have gone together for about 5-6 years now. They are going to live in my home out there. (everyone lives there but me!)

But it is all right, for 6 days I will be happy and get to go home, and see my grandmother and my mom too.

I am more than ready to be a granny, whenever I am blessed that way. :)

Pinky

We did tell our neighbor (Good Dooby) - too funny

I was trying to sleep, I heard my husband on the patio - the neighbor asked "Is it OK to start working now?", my husband said NO - I laughed..

My neighbor is always doing work/project, now he's more considerate.

HOA states noise can start @ 8:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m.
