WOW! Shocking.

For those who did not know, he went into the hospital Monday and had Back Surgery. He had some bone spurs scraped from a couple vertabrae, and had some fatty build up removed from some as they were pinching off the nerves. This was to be a preventative measure to halt further nerve damage. He was struggling with his circulation and was loosing control of one leg. Well his first nite in the hospital he was a mess, mom stayed all nite and day. We went to visit second nite and wow, he looked great, was sitting in a chair, said he had been up and walking and to the bathroom with use of a walker. Said he asked to go home then and they said prolly the next day. Well low and behold yesterday at noon he came home.

I am so amazed and proud of him. I suspected a long long stay as he is a bit of a pill, normally a person is in for 4 days. Sure he has about 6 months of therapy ahead but I think he is going to ace this.

When he had his heart attack he took the Dr's seriously, he lost weight, went to all his appointments and did what little exercise he was able.

I am so happy.

He sounds like a real pistol ball! :wah:

I'm glad he is feeling good but tell him to take it easy or it may catch up to him and he'll be sore.
