Ever wonder why people do things to draw attention to themselves? Is it me or has the world really turned on it's ear when it comes to outrageous behaviour out there.

Remember the days when Tattoo's shocked people, now they are main stream. Piercings, cuttings, brandings etc are now the "shock" rage. People act out in all kinds of weird ways, raise their kids in odd ways, have road rage, get a kick out of their own lack of manners etc.

And then when you are caught staring at someone outrageous they snap at you "what are you looking at" in an indignant way as if we have insulted them.

Have we lost it these days? Is it more the normal to be odd, off color, rude etc. Have we lost our way when we changed to the "it's all about me" race???????

ahahaha you are such a dork (in the nicest possible way Jimbo)

Oh it was in jest of course my comment, as a comparison to the ridiculous. I am not that callous to think Limb loss is funny. But I bet people out there somewhere would consider it, some are just that freakin wacked.

It's already been/being done. In the hardcore BME (body modification extreme) circles, amputation is a hot thing. Fingers, toes, castration. You wouldn't believe some of the things these people do- to themselves!!!

It's like DIY amputation-a home job.

Who is Heather Mills and why did people abuse Jimbo?

Nobody ever sends me loads of nasty PMs, they just abuse me on the site. Wimps.

Except in really extreme cases, I find it very interesting and cool what people do to augment themselves and their public lives. I don't idolize them for it, or wish that I could do as they do. Honestly, it's like street theatre for me. I don't judge them personally any more than I would a juggler or mime (well...okay, I do judge mimes, but it's their own fault!).

As to forms of dress and whatnot: Goth girls are hawt. :yh_drool
