BELGRADE, Serbia (Reuters) -- A 23-year old Serb was found dead and half-eaten in the bear cage of Belgrade Zoo at the weekend during the annual beer festival.

The man was found naked, with his clothes lying intact inside the cage. Two adult bears, Masha and Misha, had dragged the body to their feeding corner and reacted angrily when keepers tried to recover it.

"There's a good chance he was drunk or drugged. Only an idiot would jump into the bear cage," zoo director Vuk Bojovic told Reuters.

Local media reported that police found several mobile phones inside the cage, as well as bricks, stones and beer cans

Red, I know this is gross. But,did you see the video a few years ago, I think on the Dsc channel about a young couple who were dropped off on a deserted area in Alaska. They were on a walk- a- bout hiking. A plane was picking them up in a few days. The man left the camera on while a bear was eating him and his girlfriend screaming. I had nightmares watching that.

Athough...no I'm thinking of something else probably. I'm thinking of the man who lived among bears successfully for years, videotaping them and researching them and then one day was attacked...? I think they just made a movie about it. A documentary. Bears are probably the one animal I'm afraid of.

Once my mom and aunt were at a zoo and some kid stuck his hand in the lion cage. The lion bit it off. When the authorities got there and asked what happened, someone else said "he put his hand in the cage, just like this-" and stuck his and in the cage. The lion bit it off too.

No accounting for people.
