Yeah, I'm not talking about the song from the Talking heads....I'm merely sharing my evening with you....my son was making dinner (he's been doing great for 2 weeks now)....He was boiling water and we started smelling this funny smell...and then there was smoke...on top of the stove there was a plastic lid to our rice steamer just a burnin' away to nothing and melting into my stove-top!!! Smoke is everywhere, my son turned off the burner immedietaly and just stood there, trying to figure out how to stop it from smoking....Momma stepped in, he went and opened the windows and doors, I could hardly see for the smoke....

but a few towels and some cleaner...we are all better and no one is harmed....and this wasn't the first time this happened...thinking not the last either.....

Maybe I should find me a Fireman to be my next husband....ha ha ha :wah::wah:

OHHHHHH, that could take a while...thanks Magenta....if you need me....ummm I'll be at the above website!!

This guy has a BIG HOSE!! That would come in handy when the kids light the house on fire!!

Here, let me fix you some dinner and ....there now....have a glass of wine to calm your nerves. Put your feet up too. There's a really cute fireman in town...huuummmm...think I'll have him bring over the wine and dinner. Whatcha say girl:wah:

Wendy, I just got lost in the chat room. Dropped my glasses and couldn't see aroung the corner. I screamed for help to Abbey, but she didn't hear me. That damn spirit keeps asking the silliest questions....where are your glasses, where are your glasses????????

That nosey Spirit.....awwww, I couldn't hear you, I'm in Pinky's Palace and it keeps on giving me the boot, and my hiney is getting sore!!

Im glad everything went ok, I remember when my mom taught me to iron, I thought I would help her while she was at work, I ironed her burgandy velvet blazar, on the outside,left a perfect melted iron print on her back, I was so upset with myself and afraid to tell her, she smiled and said the main thing is no one was hurt, and she said she didnt really like the ol' blazar anyway.

Yeah we got a new rice cooker today and all better! I teased my son tonight when he went to cook this evening, asked him if he wanted me to check which burner he was using and if anything was on there....funny funny mom!!:D:wah:
