What really sucks is they are saying the fires were set deliberately by arsonist wanting the land cleared for development.

I have been to Athens a few times and know a number of people there. My heart goes out to them. It is such a beautiful country, it is so sad to see it this way. Sp much beautiful forest land, homes, town gone to something that you would think was not possible in this day.

I heard on the news this may have been an act of terrorism. Anything is possible from those fanatics.

My dear dear friend lives in Athens. I have been out of town, and out of the loop. Is Athens where the trouble is?
