Is anyone besides me tired of hearing about Owen Wilson attempting suicide?

Well, it's not so much that I'm tired of it or I don't care, but I'm getting disgusted with his personal business being all over the TV. Last night they even replayed the 911 call. I think that's pretty low. I'm not a fan of his but I think even if I were, I'd like for the media to ease up. Surely they're not helping him. Any comments?

He is a celebrity just like Vick. Everytime a celebrity blows there nose you are going to hear about it. I reckon it is just part of the deal making millions of dollars for entertaining the masses.

Red, thanks for posting that I havent heard about it, and I am a fan of his, although his nose looks like he tried to have plastic surgery and something didnt go right, ??? What exactly happened?

All I know IP, is that his brother found him and a 911 call was made by someone to come collect him at his home and take him to the hospital. They aren't saying much in the way of details, as to how or why.

I've seen his nose like that before. I think that's an old picture that's floating around.

From what they say he'll be fine at least as far as this attempt goes. I'm concerned that the media will dog him and make him feel worse though. I hope not.

I saw both those movies. They were pretty good. I think Wedding Crashers was my favorite of the two.

I only saw it on the news once last night and announced it to my kids when I read it while channel surfing...and they didn't believe me, then we saw the talking heads on the Larry King Show and yep....it was real...but I didn't watch much more than that...saw the woman in front of the hospital that he was evidentially in...and click...:-3

I like him, but I'm not one to get into celeb news, I could care less what goes on in their personal life, they are entertainers, and why we need to know when the last time they had a bowel movement really confuses me.

Of course, in this situation, it is sad news that he felt the need to take his own life and hopefully he will get the help he needs.:-4

I think the attention will help him. A lot of people will be watching him now and maybe that will help him get to rehab.

I loved him in the Jackie Chan movies and I hope he gets his act together.
