The idea is to give at least one very real compliment each day to someone you see. Then let us know.

but the majority of people are either jerks or ignorant fools. when you live in a society like this and have to deal with these kind of people, how can you manage to compliment them? im just wondering.

I do it every day Monday thru Friday, and mean it with a smile. That is my lil way of changing the world.

I think you are admiral, Indian Princess. Tick off Wednesday! Seriously though, there are a lot of people who only give bad feedback. It's good to let others know when something they do/are makes you happy too. Sort of passing on a bit of human warmth.

Sometimes I feel like a walking compliment machine. I can find something sincerely good to say about the most repugnant human creature on earth. Why do I find them repugnant? Well that would be another question for another time. Anyway, it makes me feel weak to give compliments. I'm oftentimes left feeling like I'm the only one alive who can find something good to say to a person. Maybe that has to do with my ability to pick up on those who are being picked on, left out or ostracized. Or even if the person is feeling bad for assuming this is happening to them. So I decided a long time ago not to give out compliments freely (no one gives me those kinds of compliments! :wah:). So, only one per person per month (or year). Unless it's my kids then every chance I get I will try to tell them what is positive about them or remind them of this. Everybody has strengths to find, right? For every criticism or negative you point out to someone it has been said, by some expert or other (me

), they should receive at least two compliments. It's how you frame the negative and highlight the positive.
Great topic (no compliment intended

)
