I thought I was going to end up in Casualty this morning, my delightful five year old daughter stuck a bead up her right nostril
Luckily she started crying and sort of snorted it down then I was able to massage the nostril and get it out, it was quite big, she must have pushed it quite hard to get it up there in the first place :-3 :wah:
So what is about kids and sticking things in places they shouldn't go? At five I would have hoped she'd grown out of that!

oiy Boops she is lucky it came out. Bleck. I know my GF's little girl many years ago stuck a wee piece of sponge up her nose, nobody noticed till a few days down the road and a foul smell was coming from Ashley and finally she fessed up to a piece of sponge being up her nose, she had to go into the Dr and have it removed.
I have heard of smarties, beads, raisins and beans all up kids noses. Amazingly Jr Minks never did that for her it was all into her mouth hehehe

My nephew put a bead in his ear when he was little, it was discovered when my sis took him to the doctors complaining he'd gone deaf in one ear :wah:

My oldest son when he was 3 stuck a peanut up his nose and we had to take him to emergency room to have it removed.

-hmmmmmmm about 35 years ago, we were up north watching the fireworks, and my cousin decided to shove a pepple up his nose, so afraid was he to tell his parents, they were the kind that used the belt to frequently, he didnt say a word until one of the other kids told.
