People who move their furniture often are said to generally be unhappy, or is that an old wives tale??

I never move my furniture around. I have a piano and I don't want to be pushing it to suit the rest of the stuff.

Never, never never. All pieces of furniture and household items were carefully placed according to the ancient dictates of FENG SHUI. To move any items would throw off the harmony and peace of the household.

I recieved a second hand couch once and when I was ready to throw it out, I took off the seat covering the timber..........$47.70 in coin later I threw it out. It didn't jingle when it moved so I thought the effort might be fruitless.

See you never know do ya!:wah:

Wow....almost $50.00!! that is great!

I just got rid of a love seat, my brother took to the dump for me, he said that a remote control was in there, and he's one of those people that think if the backing is missing, it is trash. I tried to explain that duct tape fixes it in a jiffy....so now we don't have a remote for my dvd player:-5

but NO money was in there, I checked...I'm sure if there was more than a nickel, I would've found it!:)

I used to do it quite often but the last time I did was over a year ago.:)

Its hard enough just moving my carcass around the house. The furniture is fine.
