Need Info on York

Anyone know of a great place to eat out in York city centre? We are going there this wednesday and staying overnight, so would like to have a nice meal on the night.

Its a b&b giggly walking distance to ceity centre i think and on the river foss

I'll ask our resident local tomorrow at work - he's up there every other weekend visiting the family home so he should know.

Yes it is a beautiful city Mags, i used to go a lot when i was small as i had an uncle lived there, but not been for ages, and its only just over an hour away from me:thinking: My husband has never really seen York properly so it will be a treat for him:D Im glad you had a good time there:)
