Need Info on York

Anyone know of a great place to eat out in York city centre? We are going there this wednesday and staying overnight, so would like to have a nice meal on the night.

Its a b&b giggly walking distance to ceity centre i think and on the river foss

I'll ask our resident local tomorrow at work - he's up there every other weekend visiting the family home so he should know.

Yes it is a beautiful city Mags, i used to go a lot when i was small as i had an uncle lived there, but not been for ages, and its only just over an hour away from me

My husband has never really seen York properly so it will be a treat for him:D Im glad you had a good time there:)
