Its Lucy's 7th birthday on Sunday - :-1 my last baby's growing up fast.

We have a pool party planned for her on Tuesday, where she will have loads of fun with her friends.

Any suggestions on a birthday (family) treat we could give her on Sunday. By the way, she's a real girly girl :-4:-4:-4

Why not take her to a show on ice?

Take her bowling (my kids favourite)

my girlie is going to be 7 in february! :-6

for our kids b-days we let them pick what they want to eat and what kind of cake they want and I buy them a bunch of presents toys, clothes, etc. they love it all! My daughter loves jewellery and those fancy hair thingies and she recently discovered lip gloss (eek!) so I love getting her girly things even though I'm not a girly girl!

This time of year all the costumes for halloween are in. Maybe you could get her a new fairy dress to play in. And make sure you take lots of pictures.

My girl is getting into the Bratz big time now. And all this passion for fashion stuff. I let her wear a little play make up around the house,or maybe to the store. You also could get her a childs fruity scented perfume body spray. Molly likes to put on cotton candy or apple cinnamon scent every day before school.this year and last too. The teachers and kids always tell her she smells good enough to eat.

Aww - is she in kindergarten or first grade. Lucy just started 1st grade.

And I know what you mean about this age, all the girly stuff starts. And I love shopping with her.

And she loves MY nail polish, MY jewelery, My clothes, MY shoes. Even caught her strutting her stuff in my bra once :wah:

And she looks good enough to eat too - what a lovely piccy you have of her. Bratz is the only thing Lucy is not into (yet), it might have something to do with my horror when I first saw one. Why are there heads SO BIG :wah:

I need to check a little further a field - we saw disney on ice last year. Our local ice arena has nothing going now (hockey season), but I will check out others. :-6

She likes bowling - when she remembers to let go of the ball (nearly dislocated her arm last time :wah:)- bless her :wah:

You know,..... I'm not sure why their heads are so big,they do look odd. I don't like them much either. I held off getting her anything Bratz as long as I could. But slowly they have made it into her mound of toys here and there. I have a friend that always wanted a girl.she has two boys.she buys her things I wont.

she's in first grade too, time flies! :-1

Oh she is gorgeous, I say take her for a manicure hehehe a professional salon to have her nails done, I know my oldest would have so loved that at 7

her birthday is on the 20th, she's a pisces (like me) by like one day I think??

she was due on the 16th, it would've been kinda cool to have her b-day on valentine's day but she was late instead of early! :-6

We just had the little diva's bday party this last Sunday, her bday isn't till tomorrow and she's a real girly girl. :wah:

I like the idea of hitting up the Halloween costumes for some new dress up outfits.

I always try to catch the costumes on sale after halloween if I can. And wrap them up for christmas.

I went shopping for Lucy's Birthday pressy yesterday - I got her a karaoke machine, with Hannah Montana and High School Musical songs, Hannah Montana outfit and guitar. I hope she likes it.

Think Dad and Brother hate is already :wah:- she won't be opening it until Sunday, I'll let you know if she sends us all running and the window panes crack.

Ohhh she is gonna love that! Just sneak back out and buy some earplugs for the rest of the family, and all will be good! :wah:

Thanks for the wonderful suggestions. I decided to go with the Mummy and daughter visit to the beauty parlour (:wah:I wonder if there's any hope for me ), I have booked Lucy for make-up (light girly stuff), hair and nail manicure. I think she will love it - I'll post piccys after.
