This is our (Canadian) Thanksgiving, I'm having the family up and cooking de bird. Includes sweet potatoes, green beans, and baked squash.... Pumpkin pie of course, but I don't like the stuff, I prefer a good trifle.

Love the name...

I have friends who live in B.C. - they've always asked me how "we" could stand having Thanksgiving & Christmas so close together.

My friends meet us in Hawaii every year for the last 7 years

They live in Langley, B.C.

Is that in your neighborhood?

You must have read my mind or else I remembered about the Canadian folks of fg. (Sometimes I'm amazed how easy it is to access people from other countries!) My son goes to UBC and he said he was invited over to someone's house for Thanksgiving. I wondered today what your day was about? What are you being thankful for? I mean besides the obvious.

BC is west coast Patsy, Fretobeme is closer to the east coast, near the great lakes.

hey always feel free to ask, I would gladly offer up my best answer possible

I am in Alberta which is right beside BC, we are located right above Montana...

here take a boo at this it may help

BC is the most westerly, Koan originates from that province, Alberta is next, thas me, way over in Ontario is our new Free member, and a couple other folks and way east in those teeny islands is NS or Nova Scotia, that is where Fisher is at. Sometimes it just helps a little to get your bearings. I hope that worked for ya. ;)

Ill propose what I assume will be an unpopular thought.

Do the Canadiens really deserve a Thanksgiving ?

I have to wonder, I really do.
