jimbo is in hospital he cut his hand helping me lay some hardcore

that was yesterday .

his hand swelled up today suxy took him up hospital he has got a infection

on a antibiotic drip for the nect 2 days

so jimbo get well soon

So this is the cover story? I reckon it is as good as any, this way Suzy doesn't get charged with assault.

Have just got in from the hospital, not bad going considering we got there at 1.45 this afternoon :rolleyes:

He had a puncture wound that he got at work, today his finger was twice the size and bright red, so I made him go to the hospital, they did an x-ray and established no broken bones and no items left in the finger, they wasn't happy though and sent us to a hospital that has a plastic surgery ward. He went through the artery which is why it bleed so bad, but the problem is that the tendon sheath is infected and the infection has already started travelling up his arm. They will have him on IV antibiotics for 48hrs at least.

If it had been left another day he would of been going in for surgery, to of had the wound cleaned out.

Someone must really be laughing at us, this is the first week that Jim has had work and then this happens, we came out of the 1st hospital to find a flat tyre on my car, that looked a right sight me and him trying to change it. Then if that isn't enough I am so far behind with college I'm worried about going back tomorrow ( and I do have to go back tom as I have to be off all next week), then Jenna is having her tonsils out on Monday!!!!

Go and speak to your tutor about college, they are there to help you! They should make allowances for you and help you to catch up.

I'd be shocked if they're not supportive, thats not on, these access courses are directed at people like us, they realise that we have other responsibilities and they are meant to provide extra support if needed. Certainly if you were in our group you would have the support of your fellow students as well. We've all shared our notes around and helped each other. One of our ladies has had a lot of time off with her Mum being really ill, we've all helped her to keep on top of the work. Good Luck!
