Heck no! My reward would be in returning the happy dog.
A lot of people will think the car's worth more than Pork Chop. I don't understand those people.

Thats what I thought too - how could he have taken the car!
If she was loaded ($$), I might of suggested a donation to the local animal shelter or something - I wouldn't of driven off with her car! Its a nice story though, one very loved Pork Chop :-4

He may have taken the dog with the aim of blackmailing her for the dog's return - in that case a car is a pretty good exchange.
Despicable thing to do though.

I couldnt have taken the car either.
I dont think the guy was wrong for taking it though. She didnt have to offer it as a reward.

A lady offered me $20 for finding her dog once. I wouldn't take it, 20 or
2,000 I just couldn't.
I'm happy she got him back.
I hope that guy can sleep okay at night.

that is a very sweet story but i can't believe the guy took the car though the $500 maybe. :-6
