Although this is not a funny news article, the reference to British curse just made me :yh_giggle, is it only us British that say 'Bloody'? I mean I just can't bloody believe it
He told the clerk, "All right, give me all your bloody money right now," according to Detective Gary Hammer. Although he spoke with a British accent and used "bloody,'' generally a British term considered a curse, Hammer said he had doubts the robber was actually from Great Britain.

It's the town names that get me. One minute it's Nazerath in Palestine then the next they're talking about Belfast in northern Ireland next door to Turkey. I'd to go back and read it slowly before it made any sense.

I suppose they mean a swearword rather than a curse. All the best sweary words are british.

I always thought that the Australians were the ones who added "bloody" to every sentence?
I am afraid that I am one of those long suffering husbands who has to shut off the TV if there is swearing or sex on it.
Doesn't leave me much to watch nowadays - digger.
