Hi Tombstone, I realize that the upgrade has only just been completed and it is likely that there will be some quirks coming out of that.

Thought it would help you if you could get feedback on problems that have been noticed since upgrade.

Problem: My thoughts are that this is unlikely to be a 'server' problem, so could be something from my end of system - I cannot upload attachments (a file I could previously attach) when replying to a thread. It just comes back with 'Upload error'.

Does anyone else have this problem? :-6

-1 And I don't have an avatar anymore - I reloaded different avatar, but cannot use previous avatar.

seems the avatar size is real teeeny I can't find anything small enough to fit, and I am clueless to adjust things So I remain faceless.

Attachments I have added in previous posts (like spoof thread) are all gone - but others are not - is it certain file types that are a problem?

The only avatar I could use was one created with a different file type.

Poor TS he's probably been up all night baby-sitting the upgrade and now is having a well earned sleep.

size was mattering for my av upload everything I tried even old av was too large. I never ever encountered "too large" before ahahaha Oh oops

Also, I tested the upload ability yesterday ... it was working ... but it is not now.

Here is the message I get and I am trying to upload the exact same avatar I had yesterday



The Dimension limits for this filetype are 100 x 100. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 124 x 99.

I suspect now with your new fangled upgrades I have to do something to miniature the pictures further?

actually, that message has always been there - i think i uploaded your image for you way back when. give me a few minutes though...

I saw a pic of Guppy. I can verify that she is in fact white.

angeleyes can't log in either

I had the same problem this morning Koan.

I shut down my puter rebooted it again and I was able to log on and access FG.

That means that her ISP's DNS hasn't updated and she's trying to log into the old ForumGarden.

Regarding Avatars and Attachments:

Hold 'Ye Horses! I'll have this issue fixed a little later in the day.

Last night, I got a message that said FG had moved and clicked the new link and saved it. I kept getting the "white list " message. I deleted cookies and clicked on the old link and here I am.

Uploading attachments and avatars....

Still on hold. I actually opened a trouble ticket with the authors of this forum software. Seems that they are stumped as well. Fingers crossed that I'll have some better answers tomorrow when they wake up. :p

I upped the sizes to 150 X 150. Although the system may say: "upload failed" - it just might work right now.

Everything seems to be exactly the same as it was before for me.:-3
