Now I have one of those ear gadgets for my cell phone, which I use in the car. For talking those important calls I receive like - What time is our Brownie meeting tonight? or Are you attending the School Board meeting today? or PTO needs ........ I only use it in the car!

It scares the crud out of me when people stood in line behind me suddenly start talking to themselves, or someone is walking towards me chatting away to themselves. Do people really need to do this? Do you?

I find it the most annoying gadget around, and consider it very rude when people are standing there talking to themselves that way.

My husband ad never seen one, until the last doctor visit-someone was talking away to wherever. I had told him about them, and he laughed at how silly that person looked-with an alien contraption sticking out of their ear.

I have a customer at work who will sit and even argue with himself so when a guy came in and was sitting there talking, I'd go, "What?" It took a few minutes to notice the thing on his ear. :wah: I was scared I'd have 2 that talked to invisible people and I'd have to break up a fight between the invisible friends. :wah:

Don't like them either, used to have a co-worker here who would waltz in every morning yacking away on that gadget and I always thought he was talking to us all so I would call out hello how are ya as he walked by my office only to realize he was on the phone :-5

It is OK to talk to your self , it is when you start to answer your self the trouble starts , you never agree and you end up having a blazing row :-5:-5

we were sitting in a pub tuesday and this lady beside us was writing stuff down in a notebook and kept laughing to herself and saying to her self "oh this is funny" "oh how funny, this is real funny"

Yikes and that was before she even started to drink :-5

ahahaha magic pub actually I must confess Pheasy, I played hookie from work tuesday and drove out to Banff (our fave restort kind of town just an hour away in the mountains) with my GF and we spent the day there, and it was our fave irish pub out there that we encountered this woman kinda sad and kinda funny she was.
