Halls cough drops...

They work, theyre all mentholated and they soothe your throat.

If you can get them out of the cockamamie wrapper that is. :-5

You have to unwrap the drop a centimeter at a time because the wrapper sticks to the drop. God forbid you have a coughing fit while your driving. because to get one in your mouth you need all your fingers and all your toes to get the fricking thing in your mouth. You can try peeling it away with your teeth but you just end up with little wrapper pieces stuck to your molars. Not to mention now your fingers are all sticky now.

So after 5 minutes of cursing and flailing around getting yourself all tied up in knots and your blood pressure has risen 50 points you end up sticking the drop with half the paper hanging from it in your mouth and your spitting out wads of paper for the next 5 minutes.

Nomad...you are so right about Halls and the wrapper.................I thought I just had an old batch or something. They do work and sooth the cough and the nasty disposition you get after trying to unwrap it.:rolleyes:

Yes Nomad I can relate to your situation , anticols and butter menthols are the worst for that

Those have seriously got to be the worst cough drop I've ever tasted.

If I am home and not driving, I like to use Jack Daniels to thin out mucus and act as an expectorant, helps with sinus pressure .

The package says theyre made in China. Are you Chinese ? Im an honorary Chinaman (being a ninja and all)

fisherman friends work good, but they are nasty. Halls do stick to the wrapper. Maybe, it is because in delievery, they melt then get hard again. Maybe.

Or maybe its because the COMMUNIST CHINESE ARE DOING IT ON PURPOSE !

Could be. I know I look at alot of things different before I buy it now. That is my job to pull recalls.

Can you speak with them about this ? Threaten them with a recall ? Really turn the screws on them ?

Jack Daniels (hint, hint) doesnt have that problem
