I want to do what a lot of the stay home mom's do!!

I want to give up everything I do.... and do nothing. No problem filling my free time. i would paint, sew, write, cook, weave. Learn how to batik, and travel travel travel.

According to our IP logs there's an iMac in the Vatican City domain which regularly accesses ForumGarden and logs in as Ted. Searching the internet shows that the same machine also posts encyclicals and furious diatribes to the Cardinals' Mailing List. I take it that the iMac belongs to the Pope himself and that he lets off steam by adopting a slightly less rigorous theological perspective in his Ted persona here.

I'd swap jobs with him. There are several topics on which I'd like to pronounce infallibly Ex Cathedra, committing the Roman Catholic church in perpetuity to follow my newly-expressed dogmatic line. With a little forethought I could get through the agenda in a day and still have time to celebrate Mass in St Peters thereby fulfilling yet another lifetime ambition. The final gratification would be subsequently reading the divinely inspired Java classes constructed by Joseph Ratzinger during his day with my coding pad.

Sunny, you can't possibly celebrate Mass in St Peters, you have things no pope could possibly display in public. That's one of the matters I'll fix in my pronouncements when I get the chance. You'd look good in the tiara though - you look good in anything.

Cher - how's about you and I swap houses for a few days. Forget the working thing. (A Lady doesn't work anyway). I quite fancy a bit of East Coast American time to admire the Fall colors and you can test drive some aussie summery beaches. There's a bottle of Bolly in the fridge here too, if you need any further incentive. Bring the fam.

I know that I'd like to switch jobs with Aussie Pam because she has a special way with the wee people in Ireland and all over the world. Pam has the ability to play her magical flute and call ships home from their travels. I know that's true.

One day I returned home too late to travel with my friends on a wonderful journey we were taking to a tropical island. I walked down to the sea and cried, "come back, come back, how could you leave without me all alone on the shore?"

Pam heard my cries as she was playing her flute on the boat, turned the ship around and picked me up from the beach.

Ah Kathy - it's so amazing the things that people remember and which mean something special. I'm always touched by the fine things you say, and they are reciprocated. I'd love to meet Cher (who I am certain is a sister goddess), and I hope one day you can meet her too. As for you and me, we're long overdue for catching up, painting some unsuspecting town red, dancing jigs or hulas, eating, drinking cosmos, confusing leprechauns and menfolk, breaking the bank at assorted casinos, talking, swimming... um ...etc.
