There have been a few arrests in the last couple of years by the Internet Police

Two high profile local men had their computers seized and were charged with possession of child pornography. One man was entering politics the other is a teacher. There were more arrests but these two were in trial recently so more notable.

Two men with perfectly good lives ahead of them, so it seemed, and suddenly it's gone. Why? What makes people do such things?

One of the men had over 400 photos on his PC.

I've been watching lately, in the news and such, and noticing how many people go from esteemed to garbage in the blink of an eye. Yet people still insist on judging each other based on the surface. What career do you have? How much do you make? All these things that mean absolutely squat and can disappear so quickly.

There are so many sick perverts out there. I guess the Internet makes it so accessible, but that is no reason either.

Good point and I was just discussing this with my mom the other day.....well in a round about way, it had to do with the fact that there are millions of GOOD people out there, but unfortunately the bad are who lives are in the news, so it seems?? Why can't we lift up the janitor that works hard every day to feed his family? Why don't we talk about the guy that works for UPS and puts a smile on my face every single morning, just because he is a pleasant human being!!??

But when a "pilar of the community" falls....oh boy what a sound that makes....so sad.
