This sounds like what we used to do in something called circle time in junior school.



One person is picked & everyone in the circle takes turns to says something nice about that person. The teacher writes them all down & hands it to the child at the end.

Wendy's OK! She just talks funny, that's all......

I don't know you very well, WW. What I can tell from the short time I've listened to you is that you are pretty ambitious, care much about your family, are commited to your faith in Christianity, and don't explore much. I'm referring to your post about discovering a trail to a lake near your house. From what I gathered in another post you said you had been mowing an acre of grass near your house for ten years. Just gave me the impression you had lived there for a long time. This told me you might've not allowed yourself to venture around this lake spot near your home after so many years. If true, I have to admit I'm guilty of similar blunders. Deep down I value and cherish exploration and sometimes regret not having done more to satisfy my curiosity.

Umm.... maybe I'm wrong on that count? At any rate you have been very warm and friendly to newcombers, as I found you to be when I arrived. Thanks for that!

Hi Erin,

Well, you are very observant, except it is a river that runs near my property, but about 5 miles or so away, and we walked to it for the very first time, I have been meaning to do it for a very long time. You are correct about the acre of land that I mow by a pushmower but not 10, but almost 17 years....I bought this house when I was a single mom of 1 and was 23 years old.

I agree with what you said about exploration, I LOVE to explore, I just have been very busy with a full time responsibility of 3 boys 24/7....and holding down a full time job....and of course finding time to post!:sneaky:....
