I do not know if alot of you know that on October 22cd, I had my third back surgery. It does not seem to be fusing yet again. If it does not fuse in three months, I will have to have another surgery. This is really starting to su*k!!! I really hurt alot with this one and I am gettting dizzy. I start therepy on the 20th. Maybe, this will help, or is the surgeon just buying time because he knows what is going on. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, just in case I forget to say it. I would like to say thank you to all my friends out there {the one or two of you}, Hahaha. Thanks again. Tazz:D

Awww TT. I was really wishing for this one to be your final surgery. I'm sorry you are in constant pain still. It does suck. I was trying to find out how the surgery went in your thread asking if anyone had a screwdriver. :wah:

I have had 7 opions. They all tell me to go back to my surgeon and let him fix me.

Wow TT, what a shame this last surgery didn't do what it was supposed to do! Sorry to hear of the pain you're in, hopefully it will subside soon.

My SIL has been battling severe back pain for the past 4 years, going to several specialists, never getting any real progress/relief from any of them. They have mentioned the fusion op, & he seems to be dead set against it. Hearing of this being your 3rd op for this problem maybe he's right. During these years he has been taking increasingly stronger pain killers, to the point now where the docs are afraid to give him anything stronger! Also, for the past 2 years he has been going to a "pain mgmt specialist" as well. Who has been giving him nerve numbing "injections" directly into his spinal cord problem areas. He gets relief for about 8 to 10 days, & then back to square one. Worst of all, his "insurance" did not cover the "3" different Discograms ($1,500 ea) he had, as each specialist wanted to take their own data. And only 1/4 of the pain mgmt specialits proceedures are covered. So to add insult to injury, it's costing him a lot of out of pocket money to still feel the pain!

The injections did not even work for me. That doctor even new it. If I could do it over again, I now know a really good nerosurgeon in this area, he fixed one of my friends. She is fine. I recommened him to alot of people now.

Hi Tazz:-4,

Feel better. No one should be going through the pain you're going through. My best wishes are for you.
