"Out of the mouths of Babes" We have all heard this, and laughed at a certain incident of a family member, so nows the time to share:
-my son was three and it was my grandmothers funneral, he was wonderful quiet, sat still and the casket was at the front of the church where we were, the microphone was on for the preacher, my son sat between me and his father, then my mum and all her brothers and sisters, in a moment of quiet prayer, my 3 year old shouted"Mommy my butt hurts" yes, the microphone picked it up and there was a roar of laughter, my lil guy had sat so still so long his bum had gone numb!:wah:

That's just wonderful!
My grandson yesterday was dancing round a diy store singing 'Don't stop me now, I'm having a ball' very loudly and doing 'the chicken dance' (his words, not mine) - lots of smiles from fellow shoppers!!

I raised my son too love Jesus, he was 4 and his father was way off the mark, yelling and being terrible too me and in walks our lil gift from heaven, and he says"Daddy, stop yelling at mama, you making me sad in my heart and mamas"
His father extremely upset said "sweetie go into the other room" but said it gruffly, our little one saw my tears and said"Thats it daddy, I'm telling Jesus right now, you are so in trouble"!!!!!!!!
You want to see a full grown man afraid!!!! My ex-husband said "No, no dont do that I will make it up to mama"instantly my ex's mood changed, and our son so innocent in his youth then said"Daddy, I love you , dont make me do that , O.k!"

We were at the funeral home. My father in law had died. Al and his half sister never did get along. Very loudly, my daughter, probably around 4 at the time says, "Is that Aunt Big Butt?"

I have no kids but I was one once. So...
We were coming back from the drive-in movie one night and my mom got out of the car and stepped in a pile of dog mess. My dad appeared with a butter knife and helped Mom scrape the mess off her shoe. I was maybe about 4 or 5. You know how sometimes kids don't connect the right things sometimes, well all I saw was the butter knife. I didn't know my dad threw it away. Apparently we had a couple of the same style because a few days later my grandmother was over to dinner and what looked like the same knife appeared and I said loudly "Dad! Is that the knife that had dog job on it?!"
I was sent to my room.
