I'm off to the dentist in a bit.....i'm sooooooo petrified of the dentist, had bad experiences with them.

Three years ago was the last time i went and that was really bad

they injected my gum to numb it and waited about a minute, then started to dig my tooth out........OMG.....i could still feel pain and never felt pain like it (well i have had pain worse than that but i'd rather go through labour again)....lol

Anyway, he had to stop 2 or 3 times to keep injecting my gum and finally i couldn't feel any pain....so that's why it's been 3 years since i've been to a dentist.

Wish me luck guys, think i'm gonna need it :-3

:-3 oohhh gawd... much the same thing happened to me a couple of years ago - I was having veneers and the dentist had to take off the temporary covers from my front teeth... it was agony, even after an injection... I was laid in the chair shaking from head to foot... and I mean literally shaking with the pain !!

The dentist eventually gave me enough pain killer to knock out a race horse, apparantly, and still I could feel the pain....

I had to leave the surgery with my face looking like I'd gone the distance in a boxing match... and had to return the week after for him to have another go !

Needless to say.... I hate going to the dentist............ :-1

Dentists have bad experiences with me..i wont let them numb me up to fill a cavatie..for some odd reason this makes them sweat and shake...hahahahaha:p

I wonder how many dentists have had malpractice suits against them?

I had a tooth pulled about a month ago...I was optomistic about it, told my boss I'd be into work right after I got done......HA!!! I called my boss afterwards and said...ummmm yeah...I'll see you tomorrow...went home and slept most of the day away.....I could hardly eat anything on the one side for about 3 days.....

One of my bosses (I have 2)....got a tooth pulled today and was walking around like he had nothing done this morning....about 4pm I told him how impressed I was....the man was EATING PRETZELS....I was like ------>>>>>:eek::eek::eek:



I'm a big wimp!

I have always dreaded the dentists and have been known to let tears spill while in the waiting room. I hate their big fingers in my mouth, makes me gag.....

This all changed about a year ago when my dentist went private and I needed to find another NHS dentist. I was lucky to find one quite soon.................

Yannis entered my mouth...oppps I mean life, well became my greek dentist..........Oh hes so lush and even when I had to have a crown fitted last year which caused untold pain, I enjoyed my visits to Yannis's love chair:-4:-4

Everyone knows about my crush on him and on my last visit I tried to get my mobile phone out and take a pic to show everyone but I chickened out.

Even my 9yr old appreciates how gorgeous he is lol:-4
