With all this stuff going on right now, and all these people who I don't know registering and posting about people I have known for a while now, I'm feeling all protective. :-4

I think of you all as my friends (Red, Guppy, Koan etc.) and it really upsets me when you don't get on and I have to watch you fight. I respect you all. You ALL have made great impressions on me and helped me to understand life and people. Red has been a great friend to me, and it hurts to see her being upset. Guppy made me so welcome when I first joined and it hurts to feel angry at her. Koan, although I have not got so close to, seems to be a great person and has great knowledge.

So, now all these people are logging on and not admitting who they are ... well that upsets me ... how dare you come and have a go at Red or Koan ... who the hell are you. If you are such a coward to not admit who you are, then really you are worth nothing so get lost!!!

The more they try to drive wedges between members the tighter the group becomes. They are helping the forum without realising it. Tiffs are just tiffs, they happen and they fade away. When people seriously attack we all band together so... a big thanks to all the trolls.

What you're no longer enjoying the new breath of life around here and all the ridiculous threads that have been popping up like dandelions in The Garden? :wah:

I admit I am embarassed for certain members striving to divide FG with cowardly pm's, bringing in members from other forums to fight for their side ...whether it be wrong or right, and making unfound claims without an inkling of evidence to back them up. Obviously, this isn't a case of wanting to resolve anything. I enjoy a good bi-polar episode / tantrum as much as the next sane person, on occasion, but... enough is enough, right?

aw Pheaysy, it's part of the big bad world called the net. I sometimes feel that with a forum as large and diverse as FG we can't be pleasing everybody. It's happened before and likely is going to happen again. Sometimes dirty laundry never gets cleaned. There isn't a right or wrong, it just happens. A result of many people in one place, people not letting grudges go, people bringing in business from other forums... I think it's human nature, we can't love everybody, nor can we expect everybody to love us.

I've long ago given up trying to understand what goes on in here behind the scenes. And I've also given up trying to guess who all the knowledgeable newcomers really are. Some of them may even be real newcomers. It's been a beautiful weekend here, we even swam in the sea in the rain on Saturday, and today the sun was shining and it was hot. New week coming up - and there's a pair of possums cavorting in the gum tree outside my window. Thanks, Pheasy for letting me dance a bit chaotically in your embarrassed thread.

From a true newbie (honest) I love this place, its the first one Ive paid to use too, p.s. dont tell hubby cos he would freak:wah::wah::wah:

I think generally this place runs like clockwork and for the most part the posts are really fun,informative,side splitting,cute etc...Its the deeper discussions on real life incidents that causes the fracas cos EVERYONE has their own opinions and as we have freedom of speech, they do this. Thats fine but it should never turn personal, thats just my take on it...Once a post gets personal I switch off cos I dont come online for hassle, I get enough of that in real life:wah:

Lets just all hug and kiss and lets sleeping dog lie and enjoy life........After all we only get one chance at it.......

p.s. Mods you do a fab job in my eyes, a forum of this size must take up alot of your time and for that I thank you.
