If they really didn't know and thought he was dead, was he really going to go the rest of his years never seeing his parents or sons again?Not attending his parents funerals?
Surely everything he would have to forego would not be worth the money however much it was?

I've seen movies similar to this story....my question is ....did he purposely make people think he was dead? Sounds to me when he turned himself in he said he thinks he's a missing person. I guess I always try to find the good in people:rolleyes:

Wendy that was my initial reaction, that th eguy had had some memory prob and didnt know who he was but theirs a photo of him and his wife taken last year in panama to disclude that theory, so maybe he is a sick git after all:(

So, they collected the money and secretly saw each other when they could and had their children beleiving that Dad was dead??? Okay...yeah that's horrible....but then again...there are Dad's that are alive and don't give a crap about their kids...so the kids would be better off if Dad were dead anyway......which in my opinon is the case here too....
And yes, I'm a bit bitter!:-5
