they are doing my head in, doesn't matter how many times i clean out the cupboards, they still come back

Just went in the cupboard and they were all over my bottle of Tia-maria.....a big bottle and they managed to get under the lid....i only had a bout 2 drinks out of it and i just had to chuck it down the sink :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ewwww I hate ants..........Can you not get that ant gel stuff that they eat and then take back to the nest or an ant trap?

We've tried almost everything.....apart from ant gel, never heard of that....wll not here anyway.....will have to keep an eye out for some

I was at a mates house the other night and he poured me my last bit of vodka into my glass, but he caught the bottle on the glass and chipped it, I was all prepared to fish the chipped bit out and drink the vodka but he wouldn't let me. :-1

I live at the beach, and the ants loooove sand....I have a company come into my home and spray 3 times a year, and I have never seen an ant or really any other other silly bug, in my home in years. But, you have to have a reliable company come into your home and assess problem areas.

The absolutely WORST place I ever had ants... went to the hall closet

to get my iron out one time, it was on the upper shelf... I had stored it

with water in it which you aren't supposed to do... I guess they came for

the moisture... anyway, I reached up and the iron tilted a little my way

and here came ANTS pouring all down my arm and all over stuff in the

closet. Must have been HUNDREDS of them.



Yours truly was grossed out to say the least.

We've done that too but it never does anything for us, they would be back within a day and it's not just us, every where here is prone to them really.

I'm thankfull it's not the big bull ants we're prone to, we've had a couple in the house before but they tend to stay outside and come out in the summer and at night, our patio was covered in them at the beginning of the summer....there must have been thousands of them......seriously we could hardly see our patio for them
