I figured you must be referring to Pickton.

Though he has been found guilty, and I'm convinced that he is, there is a lot more to this case than Robert Pickton. His older brother has not been charged with anything though there is evidence of his involvement. Additionally, it is believed that some of the witnesses were aware of the murders for some time and only came forward for monetary reasons. The Downtown Eastside Residents Association, which somewhat represents the interests of the murdered women, wants to see all people responsible charged for their involvement in the crimes.

As to the pigs, there was a wave of revulsion in BC regarding how many people may have consumed pigs that had been fed human remains.

I've seen a film and a television series (Deadwood) both having people fed to pigs so I take this isn't unheard of.

Oh yeah, I remember this one... hopefully, they'll bring all those that were involved to justice, as well.
