Ok, maybe i'm being over the top here, but twice now, our kettle has turned on by itself and it's quite freaky :-3

Don't know what i'll do if it happens when i'm on my own......maybe i should just make a coffee and leave it on the side :wah:

Was it cooling from the last time you used it - within the last hour, say?

I think it's more likely the switch than the supernatural but who can tell. I think you need a new kettle for Christmas just to be safe.

well, it's a brand new kettle, but you're probably right....it's more than likely faulty but the thread would be the same if i just said i had a faulty kettle....would it.....:wah:

My TV came on by itself around midnight the other night.

I was sleeping and suddenly heard voices and thought at first there was a small crowd of people outside our home.

No timer was set...I checked. This happened one other time years ago, another TV and another home.

That's spooky, that happened to my mum a few times now and her stereo, we've had a few thing happen in the past.

one time, when i was a kid, i walked into the house with my brother and sister and saw 2 of my brothers toys (airplane and a tank) going round the floor on there own. :-3

Kinks the same thing happened with a brand new kettle at work, it kept turning itself on (lucky thing hah hah) and we got the electrical appliance man out and it was a faulty lead so unplug it when not in use till you can buy a replacement...Please make sure you unplug from the wall babes. xxx:)

Leave a cup to the side with a tea bag in it, next time it turns on call out:

'Make me a cup of tea love' and see what happens.

When I'm downstairs, the upstairs floor creaks like someone is walking. But when I'm upstairs I never hear it. The house is old and I'm sure its just expanding and contracting. But it's really loud.

When my cat died, I always heard the sound of her jumping off the bed onto the floor when I was downstairs. I always looked toward the stairs for her coming down. It was a habit as I greeted her when she woke up. I finally had to stop myself from looking at the stairs expecting her to come down.

Now when I hear that certain noise, I just feel comfort.

Yeah, i will unplug it hun....thanks, i usually turn things off in the kitchen anyway

Wouldn't it be cool to have a ghost maid? Wet towels hung up and toilet cleaned! If the ghost makes you a cuppa tea, ask her if she has any sisters and I'll email you my address!!:wah:

If you could be haunted by a ghost that makes the tea, cleans the bathroom, and maybe washes the windows, that would be a good ghost to be involved with. :wah:
