I got one of those cat grass planters about 4 days ago. I thought my 2 cats would have some fun with it. Well.....

This thing is freaking me out, GROW!! Every time I leave the room (just for a few seconds), by the time I return its grown another inch. Serious stuff - I think it has been sent by aliens to eventually take over world :yh_hypno:yh_hypno

Anyway on a more serious note, I was a little concerned when I got up in the middle of the night, only to find Codi rolling it in some paper (its not a laughing matter!! - his sister was already puffing on hers!) :-3:-3

That looks like oat grass. Lots of cats love that stuff but sadly, mine never were interested in it much. Do your cats like catnip? I have never had a cat who liked catnip!

My mom used to grow cat-nip for our cats, and coincidentially the ones that looked EXACTLY like your kitties:-4....and they were very entertaining after they smoked a doobie or two....which is funny that I used that term for a joint....we actually named a cat doobie, but not in reference to schmokin'.....she was a "stranger in the night...doobie doobie doooooo"....

Red and Wendy, I did give catnip to my cats. It was when neither of them had been fixed - I had to take it away from them - it was disgusting, obscene - they wouldn't stop 'going for it' Even Bradley (my GSD) was impressed with Codi's performance ). Bonnie (my brittany) thinks Pichu is a whore now ).

So.....they only get it as a 'special' treat :sneaky:

This is so funny. I have and give my little one dried cat nip every once in a while, which she enjoys and has fun, and then goes for a big lie down and you don't see her for a few hours. Cat grass, is something else she likes because we live in a Condo and she does not get out into the real world, but I have never noticed it growing so fast.:wah:
