Does anyone really use them?? I am so impatient that I want to know how to do it NOW.....for instance, "a how to book on how to play guitar"???????????

I'm with you WonderWendy3 I have no use for them..:wah: I only read them when I can't figure it out after 3 days of trying, then I only read the quick guide. :-5 I'm to stubborn to admit defeat. :p

I guess I am just too much of a perfectionist. I get books and guides and read them before I ever begin something. I hate failure. As far as the guitar books go I guess it is bad that I am reading guides on how to build your own guitar too?

I am like Carla and Mrs. K....I get irritated when my dad wants to read the "how to" book for board games, like I can figure it out without the book!!!!:wah::wah:

Yes he is! But I do admire him! When he sets his mind to do something, he does it, and does it right. So far he's totally redone 2 vehicles, brought a wrecked Harley Davidson back to life ( we are talking body work and paint himself), and if he doesn't get his but to practicing his pinstriping, I'm gonna kick it! :wah:
