It's Latin for 'go with god'

Get outta here, they didn't have Firebirds in the 60s! I thought that was a late 70s/early 80s trend.

They both came out the same year-1967. Camaro was always more popular though.

Snooze it's O.K. - never thought you doubted me. Not everyone is full of useless knowledge - something someone acuses me of often.

I'm the orginal owner of a 1973 Camaro. Its not uncommon to buy Firebird parts for the same year Camaro if you need something and Chevy doesn't have it. Most parts are excactly the same interchangable. ;)

Hi Firebird,

I had a 1995 convertable firebird....metallic red with black top...love of my life. Had to give it up after 11 years....still miss it.

Now, I bought a 2007 Solstice Pontiac. Adore my new car, but don't love it as much as my firebird. Dealer said they weren't making anymore firebirds:-1

Here's my new car...

Kathy thats a pretty cool car, but a litle small for me. Being 6'6", I need a little bit bigger. They are supposed to build a camaro again though. Would show pics of my car but it is pretty ugly right now - runs good, just looks like a turd!

I know what you mean...most of the men in my family are way over 6 ft and none of them will get into my car so I can't judge if they'll fit:wah: I agree, It is too small, and that's why I didn't want to buy it originally. It also doesn't have a spare tire or a full trunk.

I don't have children, so I don't have to worry about carting children's items around, but GEEEZEEEE!!!!! NO TRUNK:confused: How will I survive:driving:

Happy to say Firebird that I am so delighted with my Pontiac Solstice now. With a bit of ingenuity I can fit a whole order of food and a million other bits and pieces into the nooks and crannies within the solstice. I can also squeeze 2 and 1/2 people into the bucket seats.
