Shes coming.

For a week.

Sunday to Sunday.

7 days.

Shes already bought the ticket.

Its non-refundable.

She has to sleep somewhere I spose.

Has anyone had any experience with these air mattresses with the built in pumps ?

I dont want to waste $ if theyre horrible to sleep on.

I like them, they're fine to sleep on. Take all her jewellery off before you put her to bed, they're no use after they're punctured.

i slept on one for months before i bought my bed, it was very comfortable, i covered the base with blankets then sheets to make it smooth.

The only problem may be if she has problems getting up or down from low on the floor.

air beds are great for a short time but long term can cause back pain etc....also if its too bouyant you can feel sea-sick when you first get up lol:wah::wah:

Im certain shes already dizzy anyway. That shouldnt be an issue. Although Ill put her in the garage if she vomits anywhere but the terlet.

Air matresses are great, get a nice one for her.

We slept on those for a month while we were waiting for our belongings to arrive from the UK. It was comfy - although I was glad to see my bed when the boat finally arrived :-6

Add a memory foam mattress cover and it will be so comfy, you might want to keep it for yourself.

they are quite expensive here in the uk, a pillow is £20, are they cheaper in the us.

A king size topper is around £120 and a proper mattress is £160

My parents have one that has a stand/frame for the air mattress, so it is off of the ground, you can find them in the camping section of the stores (although you probably already know that, I'm just so proud of myself that I know that, I wanted to share!:D) We always have one for when family members come from out of town and they aren't keen on sleeping on the floor with a sleeping bag....:rolleyes:

"Aero Beds" are excellent I have one for my granddaughter to sleep on when she stays the night. I also slept on a queen size air mattress from Target for months while I looked for new bedroom set. It was excellent as well.

We slept on an air mattress for a while. It was quite comfortable. When it got too holey, hubby got the bright idea to fill a water bed mattress with air. You do NOT want to do this. Well, maybe if you want a good laugh you do. I laid down and it was comfortable. It was not so comfortable when he dove on it and I went airborne landing on, and breaking, an end table. :wah:

Nomie set it up and air it out. They have that new plastic smell that can take awhile to go away.

Bed Bath and Beyond sells one that is great. Queen is around 100.00 but you have to look for their frequent 20% off coupons. Very comfortable.

"Aero Beds" aren't cheap. I have had mine for at least 3 maybe 4 years they are durable and easy to set up.

Absolutely....the smell is a bit odd....also make sure it is fully inflated. I used one for about 6 weeks when I first moved to my flat but it was a bit uncomfortable for the first 2 nights until I realised I needed to inflate it more. After that it was perfect.



My grandson has a 'ready-bed' that he uses whenever he goes to 'sleep overs'....it's really good because it's like a sleeping bag.
