Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. Look what I found! They showed us this film on Movie Friday when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade.
This film came out in 1967 and demonstrated what super modern feaures we would have in the year 1999. It shows a housewife shopping "online" and a kid playing chess with an electronic partner, how meals would be prepared and other stuff. These segments show the modern kitchen and shopping online and "'email." Did anyone else see this?

great video!i recall as a child in the 50s we had a museum in london called the geoffrey museum.it had rooms throughout history,it would have genuine furniture from all the periods.it had at the end the house of the future,it predicted robot home helpers and other crap, but the vid here was spot on!i remeber in the 60s we had a tv program called tomorrows world ,it predicted electric music,,,it turned out to be techno beat ughhhh
