I note several threads relating to sun signs and ascribing personality traits to each of the twelve horoscope signs. We ought to be able to demonstrate by proof how accurate these traits are, there's enough people on the site to do it.

What I suggest is that we build a series of either-or questions. Are you introvert or extrovert? Are you optimistic or pessimistic? Are you serious minded or frivolous?

Each of the questions ought to be able to exclude some sun signs and include others, given the descriptions in the existing threads.

Scoring the questionnaire can predict what sun sign the person belongs to. We can see how accurate we can get it. You'd think someone had already tried this but I've not heard of such a study.

How likely is it that we'll get a better-than-random accuracy?

so do we post the questions as per our individual signes?

I can try and start with hopes I am understanding this of course I am asking for one sign only maybe others can input as per their sign yeah? no?

Are you determined or irresolute?

Do you accept change or are you stuck in your ways?

Social butterfly or recluse?

If those four questions can only be answered in a given way by people of one sun sign then they're perfect determiners for that sun sign. Presumably if someone fails one of those questions then they'd be started on another set of four, and another, until they found a perfect match. You're sure there's no other sun sign whose members might give the same answers?

An alternative would be to pool twenty questions, get a hundred sets of answers and see if members of each sun sign group themselves into patterns on the full set. That way anyone new answering the same questions and falling into one of the patterns is a member of the same sun sign.

Has nobody done this sort of proof before?

What do you factor in for those on the cusp of two signs?

If I remember my astrology correctly, there are several factors included in one sign. Time of birth, date of birth, alignment of the planets and other things I can't remember.

It's hard to say I'm "either-or". I am an optimist, but sometimes wary. Sometimes, I am serious-minded, sometimes frivolous. Sometimes I am quiet, sometimes I can go on and on. In certain circumstance, I can lead, others, I follow.

I keep starting to write things about virgos but I've never found any set rules that apply to myself. There is so much more that defines a person than a sun sign.

nope not so sure hehehe just know those 4 are a good indicator together
