I just heard on the news that they found Heath Ledger dead in his NYC apartment.

young actor, was in Brokeback Mountain.

Thank goodness, I'm not the only who doesn't recognize the name.

What a shame, he was a pretty good actor!

One of his movies was "A Knight's Tail", he was excellent in that!

I just read the same thing! They said it was "drug related"...ofcourse!!! The guy has a fiance and a 3 year old daughter. Damn! So good looking too! He is also playing the Joker in the new Batman movie that hasn't been released yet! Why do people do this to themselves!!! So freaking sad!!!:-1

You'd like to think that certain actors have made better choices and were a little smarter than others....thats what I thought about Heath Ledger...he was so good and seemed very grounded....I guess we all have our demons thought don't we?

Wasn't he your man who was in that movie about gay cowboys? Oh well, thats sad, bit like when that other young actor in the 1990s, River Phoneix I think, it kinda reminds me of that. I don't really know who this guy was, but I am sure younger posters will be sad for him.

My first reaction too was who is Heath Ledger. I have been meaning to get around to watch it on DVD, but have been really lazy about doing that too. Too bad since he was so young with a daughter. I don't understand why people bother with Drugs, I just don't get it.

Funny, Galbally. I also thought of the death of River Phoenix! I'm curious how he died though.

For those of you who don't know who he is, may I suggest you track down a copy of Two Hands, one of the best Australian movies of it's time. This is the most upsetting news I've heard in a while, that man was going to marry me one day :p
