How your partner feels if you admit to finding someone else attractive?
My husband is well aware of my lusting after the delectable Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings, also I think he knows I fancy Richard Armitage (Guy of Gisborne in the current Robin Hood series) but he finds it funny as I'm about as likely to run off with them as I am to grow a third breast!
If it was someone I actually know I'm sure he wouldn't be too chuffed.
I'm the same as him, if it's someone unattainable then fine but if he had a real chance of getting together with them I'd be jealous as hell!!
So I was wondering how other people feel?

I never understood this "celebrity" thing at all Immy. If I say I have a thing about Billie Dove it ought to be relevant, as far as jealousy goes, that she died ten years ago, she was 94 at the time and she lived 7000 miles from here. The object of my interest is iconic, what on earth is there to be jealous about? The exact same argument goes for any other attraction which lacks potential.

It's funny really, fancying 'celebrities', it's probably because they are unattainable that makes them appealing. Being attracted to the person they play not the person they are is part of it too, I love the rugged, macho men in my head but the reality is that the men I have dated and married in real life are far from that type, they are just ordinary blokes.
Ordinary everyday life involves being with someone who leaves a stink in the bathroom, who has colds and is snotty, who falls asleep in front of the telly - fantasy figures don't do that, they protect you from orcs and will die for you if need be!!!!
I'm now going to google Billie Dove:)

I'm relieved to hear that Billie Dove is no longer with us. The idea of Spot with a third breast is a little worrying.

my hubby gets a little tetchy when I say pwhaaaaaaaooorrr hes a bit of ok, remember him finding it amusing when I used to fancy Robson Green back in his soldier soldier days as Dave...ooohhh those green eyes made me go all gooey inside:p:p:p Were not jealous of each other at all but at the same time have enough respect for one another not to perv too much over anyone.
