Done an act of kindness for a stranger in need?
And surprisingly, an act of kindness befell you unexpectedly from a stranger, within a few days.
Does kindness beget kindness?

During the course of any given day, there are many opportunities to be kind.
I try to take advantage of all of them.

Yes I too believe that kindness begets kindness, at least that has been my experience. I once drove 40 miles out of my way to do a favor for a complete stranger. Two days later a complete different stranger returned my wallet (in tact) that I didn't even know I had lost it till he returned it! So. . . .

Ive had the experience.... many times. It is WONDERFUL.
These arent strangers. But... a couple of weeks ago, I made these adorable winter centerpieces for the tables in the restaurant where I am working. I told the owners..." This is on me, youve been very generous, and I would like to offer something in return.
Yesterday.... A dozen roses were sitting on the bar for me.:-4
A property manager in the town Im working in, took me to see a few apartments. We discovered our birthdays were on the same day.
Friday, I left a teeny tiny bag of exquisite cookies on her desk, with a note offering her my best wishes. She came into the restaurant last night, with a friend... and a little bag for me. It was two handmade dolls, sewn together, holding a little sign that says ' NEW FRIENDS'
Giving truly is so much more gratifying than receiving. Giving of ones self, is
the most valuable gift there is.

The older couple I met at Wallyworld and then went to their house to get their ipod up and running, found out my last name and sent me a very nice giftcard for wallyworld and an even nicer note.
I had to give the giftcard away, 'cause for some reason, if I get something it dosen't feel as good as just getting the feeling. So I gave it to a very young girl about to have her first child. She was so excited!:D

36 years ago my bride and I were traveling along when we saw a car pulled over to the side of the road. It was a station wagon and the contents in the back were on the roadside in order to access the spare tire. I stopped to see if I could help. It turned out the spare was no good and they were stranded. It also turned out that my spare fit their car so we put it on and I followed them to the next service station (they sold tires batteries and accessories then).
I waited for my spare and the stranded motorist purchased a new set of 4 tires. When we put the spare back in my car and the guy offered me $10.00 dollars for my help. That was enough for a tank of gas and my wife and I were broke. I tried to tell him “no but he wouldn’t rest until I took the money.
I pulled up to the pumps and told them to put in $10.00 worth which they did. When I tried to pay the station owner he asked if I was the one who brought him the customer for 4 new tires and I said I was. His reply was that I couldn’t pay for the gas¦it was on him.
I’ve had experiences where doing something good returned good but I think that was the fastest I ever saw it happen.:driving:

I would like to think im kind and helpful every day. I have given many favours to peeps, total strangers, just last week I was in the bank and this lady was trying to pay a bill but as she didnt bank there they were going to charge her and she never had any more cash so I gave it her. Woman who works at my childrens school, her dogs got out the back gate due to the binmen leaving it off the latch, I found them wandering the streets and they were soooooooo muddy but I still got them in my car and drove to the school to get her so she could get them safely home.
Do unto others what you would like done to you.. Most kindess doesn't cost anything, giving someone help generally or if you have knowledge in a certain field and you can help someone out. I love to make people smile, so rewarding:-6
