Of the multifarious clefts

On life's shaggy and tattered garment

Through the unwoven fabric

Set in peircing chills

Sucking away from its stores

Warmth from my systems so exposed

Fissures need be patched

Worn-out linings replaced

On the lace of my adorning

By a voyage of decisions

To sew a shielding outfit

Against time's sheer threat

Of wear and tear
