I've just popped in for awhile tonight at the FG just to make sure that everyone is doing well and all snuggled up for the night.

Why do I always feel that I'm on my own "Neighborhood Watch?" Seriously.....I ask myself that question..who's happy with good news, who's upbeat with a new job or moving to a new home, who's hurt, who needs a hug, who's fighting or happy with others..............

.......Guess it's because I ADORE and care so much about all of our members in the FG....and now that I've said that....think I'll just go quietly and check on my neighborhood to make sure all are ok... Sleep tight:-6

A feeling I share with you Kathy. :-4

It saddens me when I see bad news here, or friends are fighting. I think new people, don't truly understand this bond that we have for each other. But hopefully, if they stay long enough, try to understand they, too can be part of this precious family we have.

Call us fluffy. Call us soppy. Whatever, this precious.

To you Kathy :-4:-4:-4:-4

We do care about each other.:)

Ahhhh Pheasy:-4

That's so true......You are so smart when you said ...........if members stay long enough to bond...Those are key words Pheasy...."precious family"

I think that we have to forgive each other and just let things go sometimes. We all post things and later regret that we've said those things...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra..

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

One friend who

Always makes her Laugh...

And one

Who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A good piece of furniture

not previously owned by

Anyone else in her family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE

Eight matching plates,

Wine glasses with stems,

And a recipe for a meal that will

Make her guests feel honored.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE...

A feeling of control over

Her destiny...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to fall in love

Without losing herself...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

HOW TO QUIT A JOB

BREAK UP WITH A LOVER

AND CONFRONT A FRIEND WITHOUT RUINING THE FRIENDSHIP...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

When to try harder... and

WHEN TO WALK AWAY..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That she can't change

The length of her calves,

The width of her hips, or

The nature of her parents...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That her childhood

May not have been

Perfect..but;

Its over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she would and

Wouldn't

Do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to live alone...

even if

She doesn't like it.

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

Whom she can trust,

Whom she can't,

And why she shouldn't

Take it personally..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

Where to go...

Be it to her best friend's kitchen table..

Or a charming inn in the woods...

When her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she can and can't accomplish

In a day...

A month..

And a year

BUT most of all.............EVERYONE should know a dear lady like our Kathy;)xxxxx

Hummmmm....I think Chezzie could find a nice happy, springy avatar.....I should ask her:-4

Sleep well, Kathy. This is a beautiful thread you've started. But I'm not surprised. You're a beautiful person!! Just checking in to say Au Revoir for a bit. Of course France has cyber cafes - the French are one of the most internet connected peoples in the world. But I expect it will be sporadic. See you all again properly in late May. Take care. And look out for each other.

And Kathy - check out the Garden goddess thread. I just stumbled upon that.. will post the pic here too.

Thankyou Kathy, for bumping this thread. I'd forgotten about it. I've been thinking New Year resolutions all day - as one does on a Sunday at this time of year, walking by water. It's caused me to modify one particular resolution. You and many others in here are worth staying around for. Sleep well.
