An age old question, and of course us Wimin get fussed at for "needing" a lot of shoes to go with different outfits.....but are there women that have only a few pairs, or is there anyone out there that has 5 pair of black shoes like me?

Do you buy new shoes for every new event?

Do you like ONLY heels or flats?

Umm no the bottom of my closet is not covered in my shoes. Those are all firebird's, he loves his clogs and high heels.

well I got going out shoes in Silver, black, gold, red, white and leopard print...Most of them are wedge or kitten heel.

I have boots in black, brown and light brown/beige and pointy red ones. One black pair that I can hardly walk in but are megga kick ass.

Work shoes are black, grey and light tan and a brown pair. Just chunky heels.

I got 2 pairs of nice trainers one pairs maroon and the others light beige and pink.

I got walking boots in pink suede and a black pair of hush puppies. A pair of light tan timberlands and a pair of black rockports...

Sandals I got all colours and shapes. My fav sandals are my black kickers which iv'e had for like 5 years and are dead comfy.

And I got blue wedge wellies and blue ankle boot wellies:wah:

I have two pairs of tennis shoes, one dark -one light. I have two pair of flipflops, one for the garden -one for everywhere else. I have one pair of cheap snow boots for shoveling the drive if it gets past the tops of the dark tennis shoes mentioned above.

I bought a pair of regular shoes a couple of years ago that I thought were cute. Still haven't worn them..

I've a pair of shoes - black

I must have a pair of trainers somewhere but I can't think where.

There's a pair of sandles and a pair of wellies on the boat - shoes don't work too well there.

Oh, just remembered, I've still got my old pair of shoes for when I'm working in the garden or on the car.

Gosh, 3 pair of tennis shoes to go with athletic clothes, black and white flats for church, pair of crocs for the house, paisley rubber boots to shovel snow, flip flops for summer-when I get to school, I put on either my black or brown pair of moccassins. I have the most comfortable feet in the school....

I am unashamed at the number of shoes I have.

I have shoes I have no hope of wearing still in their box that I try on occasionally.

I have shoes that I wear to death but can't throw out because they have been like faithful friends.

I have shoes that I've hated the moment I've got them home and yet keep them because I may just learn to like them.

I wear at the moment, nearly all the time, my UGG boots(probably my most expensive at £170) and I've decided to buy a new pair because I love them so much.

I have 5 pairs of "Just in case" shoes in my car.....just in case.

My friends and family think I'm nuts but are so jealous that I have small feet and they can't have my castoffs.

i hate to think how many pairs i have,

i have trainers, flip flops, wellies, sandals, shoes, high heels, flats.

I love my shoes and although they can be highish they are comfy :-4

Abbey i agree about the just in case shoes in the car, i have a pair of flats incase i get stuck and need to walk :p

5 pairs in the car???? I have shoes I can't throw away too...matter of fact today I went shopping during my lunch hour to get a new pair of shoes, because my dogs were barking (a saying meaning that your feet are hurting) and I was so happy to take those things off and put on my new shoes, that are ever so comfy....and I put the old pair in the box and plan on taking home and putting in the closet, "just in case" I need them....KNOWING full well that those things are of the debil!!! :-5:-5



And Pheasy....glad you said something about the thong!!---I was gonna!!!....but they are a type of sandals too!!:D

Okay, I have to ask....what size do you wear??? I have big feet and have the darndest time finding nice shoes at a good price that doesn't make me look like I should have a big red nose and have multi-colored hair!! (clown shoes)

I wear size 7 womens But my step daughter is size 11 has a hard time getting nice shoes.

My mom wears a size 5 or 6 depending on the manufacturer....and she can get into childrens shoes...she LOVES that!!---I don't share her excitement for shopping for shoes for basically that reason!!:-5

Size 6 UK - Size 9 USA

well, they were Dad's shoes and then when I grew up, I used to wear his slippers around the house!!:o

Ahhhh, shoes......and for every pair of shoes there should be a handbag (purse)..................... bliss, I love buying shoes and handbags, they always fit on fat days.



I too have shoes I cannot wear - the black ankle boots that are too high, the sandles that slip off and trip me up, the thong type that rub my toes but they are still lovely.



I have three pairs of black boots all slightly different so they suit different outfits. Loads and loads of other shoes, my hubby says that I'm the Imelda Marcos of south Devon!!



I nearly cried when I had to throw away my fave pair of brown ankle boots, I had worn them so much that they were my oldest friends. RIP dear boots.......

I have a few dressy shoes for when I *must* dress up but I never wear really high heels since I'm 5'9". :rolleyes:

I have a pair of Uggs and a pair of plaid, ballet style Keds that I lovelovelove!!

I love shoes that are flat, comfy and funky!

but I mostly wear flip flops and I'm barefoot when no shoes are required!
