The village in PA (and the girl's school of the same name) was founded by emigrants from my natal village in Wales.
Having been born in the valleys it was the only possible name to use here
It did have its problems though - when I joined several people thought I had just graduated from the girl's school
Caused some confusion I can tell you :wah:

Thats cool .... not that people thought you were from a girls school :wah:, but knowing where the PA version originated. A wonderful piece of history, worth researching. I love history, and knowing how things came about :-6

I knew nothing of it until the American members here assumed I was sixteen and female - gave me quite a turn it did :wah:
